There are some days on the island where it is so still you think the ponds are glass. On these rare days, taking photos of favorite places takes priority. Capturing the pylons at the Boat Basin, after the docks have been hauled in for the winter, makes for an eerie and beautiful photo. There is rarely a bad sunset from the north end of the island and chances are if you go to the Point enough, you will capture a breathtaking sky. I love the colors in this shot. Each tea towel is 100% cotton and is hand printed with one of my unique designs. The process starts with washing the blank towels. I then print them with non-toxic ink. Heat treat and then wash and dry again to make sure the deslgns won’t wash away (although they will fade over time with use and cleaning). Drying dishes or your hands has never felt so fun.
This 45 card deck, with accompanying booklet, uses the power of Story and Messages to help with Remembrance. Each of the cards is an image associated with the ocean and its surrounds and they are designed to be part of the users journey for self-reflection. They are beautiful and powerful. This barn is an iconic image heading north on Corn Neck Rd, The owner passed away in the late winter of 2025 leaving behind many, many friends. The barn was always adorned with a wreath in winter but a huge red heart went up in the spring after his passing. It was such a heart-felt gesture I decided to create 4 different images of this linocut to depict the different seasons. Each limited edition print is hand printed, signed and numbered. I also did a series of monoprints (all u/p) layered under the linoprint to add some color and depth to the scene. Those can be found under the Monoprint label. Mornings on Mansion Beach are one of the best parts about living here. I have been coming to this beach, walking its shore, exploring it in all weather, for my whole life. It grounds me more than any other place on the island. I love being able to photograph it every time I am there. With the linoprint of Adrian’s Barn, I wanted to add some seasonality and color to the image so created monoprints and then with registration I printed the linoprint on top of the monoprint. It was a fun process which makes each one unique. The image measures about 9 × 6.5” and they are matted to a standard 11 × 14” size for easy framing.
